Managing incoming documents
Documents arriving within a facility, typically related to the care for a particular patient, are presented within the "gmIncomingArea" plugin. Documents can be added to this area:

from the clipboard
-
from files on disk
-
from an imaging device (scanner, webcam, …)

automatically
The plugin will show a preview for each entry and allow to associate it with a patient.
Automatic import
The client will regularly import files from
$HOME/gnumed/auto-import/
and
$HOME/.local/gnumed/auto-import/
The directories contain a more detailed description of the mechanism.
Saving documents into the patient chart

associate incoming documents with their corresponding patients
-
filter the incoming documents list
-
you now see only those of the currently active patient
-
checkmark items to be imported as one patient document
-
enter patient document metadata
-
save the lot
-
repeat as necessary
